Cathy Chisnell
My Mother gave me the gift of appreciating music of all genres. I discovered blues in my forties after my best friend passed away.  A friend took me to Chips and I found Mudcat. I was hooked then discovered other Atlanta Musicians and spent every weekend dancing and letting the music touch/heal my soul. Having the love of the blues, I joined the ABS four years ago, attend meetings and volunteer.  My professional background is Accounting, Office Manager, Human Resources and problem-solver.  I want to work with others to keep the Atlanta Blues alive and grow for others who find the blues touches their souls.

Heaven Davis
An avid blues lover and supporter, vocalist, song writer, columnist, radio show host, and a founding member of the Atlanta Blues Society.  I am an Atlanta native who has watched the Atlanta blues scene grow.  I continue to support efforts to bring attention to the Atlanta Blues Society, the art form knows as blues and the singers, songwriters and musicians who love it, and live it.  Heaven was a Vice President when she was on the Board from 1995 – 1997 and has served as President since 2009.
Steven Derrick
My interest in the Blues Society has always been preserving Blues Music as a national heritage and enjoyable art form. I have studied blues music since 1964 when I first heard Paul Butterfield in Chicago. I simply wish to lend my expertise and efforts to whatever projects need assistance with enthusiasm. In the past I have been a Corporate Vice President as well as an Advertising and Promotional Manager. I am familiar with the management of resources and people. I believe these skills would add to our efforts in promoting The Blues Society. Steven has been a lifetime member of the ABS since 1997.
Barbara Hilke
Barbara says “My life is all about the music, listening to it, dancing to it, crying at it, laughing at it, soaring with it and always passionately supporting it.” I worked for AT&T, then Southern Bell, then Bellsouth, as a Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Infrastructure Tech, and finally Project Manager. A few years ago I decided to pursue what I love: music. I am currently mentoring to be a Manager/Booking agent for musicians and I couldn’t be happier about it. I also have some time to devote to the Atlanta Blues Society and would love to continue to serve as a board member.
Lisa Kitchens
Lisa Kitchens is a native of the blues rich city of St. Louis, Missouri.  She grew up in a household where music was greatly appreciated and encouraged.    With a love for multiple genres of music she grew up singing in the church choir, playing violin and cello in school orchestras in high school and college musicals at the University of Missouri.  Hher career took her ultimately to Atlanta, where she is an eCommerce Commercial Director for Worldspan by Travelport.  Currently performing with The Rockaholics, Lisa is also a proud member of The Black Doll Affair, a “Pretty… Philanthropic” social club who donate time and money to worthy causes.
Kelli Stripling
Hi! I'm Kelli Stripling, also known as Bluzgirl. I've been in the Atlanta blues scene for almost 10 years. Music is my passion, even though I don't play an instrument or sing (except in my car and in the shower). I work at Excel Federal Credit Union during the day (for the past 12 years) and volunteer my free time as a board member for the Atlanta Blues Society and the Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research. I'm very blessed to have music as such a huge part of my life!
Lillian White
Lillian is an avid blues lover and has more than 25 years experience in night club management and blues promotions. Lillian is a Morris Brown College graduate where she majored in Elementary Education. She is the owner of L&L Trucking and Catering by Miss Lillian. Lillian has served on the ABS Board for the past year, and an Election Official for the Fulton County Board of Commissioners for over thirty years.
