Originating from a garage this blues-based band has gravitated from Corporate/Wedding/Show band, returning to “The Blues”. Primarily playing in the greater Atlanta area The Lemonsqueezers have performed in locations in Alabama as well as South Carolina. The Stooge Brothers is a blues and rock band that has been entertaining crowds since 2003. Its band members are seasoned musicians, having played a variety of music – from blues, funk, soul and jazz to rock, Americana, country and pop. Collectively, the Stooge Brothers have nearly 200 years of professional musical experience! With two guitarists, a keyboardist, harmonicist, a bassist and drummer, the band’s music spans multiple genres, evoking a true grit sound that makes each and every show dynamic, lively and engaging for the audience. A talented group of musicians, all of the members sing lead vocals, each with a unique style and flavor. Powerful vintage acoustic blues and string band music ranging from classic 1920/30s Atlanta blues, rags and folk tunes to well-crafted original compositions. Acoustic guitars, bottleneck slide, harmonica, washtub bass and washboard are some of the instruments used to arrange a dynamic and entertaining show at refreshingly low volume levels. Harmonica wizard Vern Edwards brings something special to the show whether an acoustic duo or a full review.
